  • I will never ever come up with a way to survive winter unharmed. Never. I always start really well, but then as soon as Christmas is over, all I can do is lay down on my carpet and cuddle some plushies.

  • Definitely tea, sometimes with honey depending on the kind. I find that it’s harder to get to the gym in the winter though it’s so important. I’ve taken to trying to get that done earlier in the day before it gets dark and my brain thinks it’s time to just curl up on the couch instead!

  • I just brew a big pot of green tea and planed my exercise for this week, but I haven’t been consistent with Vitamin D or overall taking care of health. When the Winter comes all sensors in my body just tell me to EAT and SLEEP lol.. I’d love to do hot yoga but it’s very expensive here where I live, so I try to stay in shape by bouldering. Lovely photos and tips!

    • Thank you so much Laura! I know what you mean by hot yoga being expensive. I live in a small town so whenever I travel and try out a new gym I’m s h o c k e d at the price tag that yoga usually has. Here’s to staying warm and surviving the winter 🙂

  • I’ve recently really been getting into tea! I never used to drink coffee or tea but I just recently got sick and now I’m drinking tea A LOT! I found one with peach and orange in it and it’s so good! x

  • Love these photos Kelsey, they make me feel so calm! I’m an avid green tea drinker, there’s a brand in the UK called Clippers which taste really nice. I’ve been feeling run down lately, so need to take care of myself more 🙂 I would say eating well and getting enough sleep will help get you through the cold months!

  • Hi Kelsey, I know I have said it before, but your photography really puts me in a good mood! (ow- and I don’t mind the pretty pink chair photos 🙂
    I am expecting a little one by next may, so now then ever it is super important to keep myself healthy, exercise is my main struggle although I do enjoy the walks in autumn outside! I prefer coffee over tea, but have been trying to cut back on drinking coffee, I might try drinking some green tea instead 🙂

  • The cold weather literally happened overnight here in Ohio. Yesterday it was sunny and 72 and today it is a cold, windy 38 (we’ve even had flurries)! How did that happen? With the time change a few weeks ago, it is has become even more apparent how important it is to take care of yourself during the colder months. It is so easy to stay bundled up inside but it definitely affects my overall happiness. These are some great tips!
